How are payments handled on MediaMobz?
Buyers and producers determine their own payment terms. At the time the job is offered by the buyer and accepted by the producer, the parties must agree on the scope of the project and the price for completing the work.
When accepting a project, the producer pays MediaMobz a nonrefundable fee of $30. For the transaction to be valid, the fee must be paid on the site by clicking the PayPal button, which lets the producer pay through PayPal or with a credit card. There are no other charges due to MediaMobz throughout the entire process.
How do we decide on a schedule of payments?
The buyer and producer should decide at the outset of the project whether the producer will be paid in increments or in one lump sum at the end.
The buyer and producer will decide together the best way to handle payments to the producer: through PayPal, wire transfer, personal check, etc. MediaMobz is not involved in this part of the process.
How can I use escrow on MediaMobz?
As an option, the buyer and producer may decide to use the services of our certified partner Escrow.com. If the parties go this route, they will determine the amount to be placed into escrow and the number of payments to be made when the producer meets certain benchmarks.
This is a good option for high-priced projects or jobs with multiple phases or benchmarks. We are working on a customized escrow.com process for MediaMobz buyers and producers who want to use an escrow service.
